2025 Spring Reading Challenge
We’re starting to see signs of spring outside, and we’re thrilled to be transitioning from snowy reads to tales of flowers, bees, and fresh starts. While we’ll always love our annual reading challenges, sometimes it’s fun to enjoy the quicker win of completing a smaller challenge.
For spring, we’ve prepared a four-book challenge. And we have book recommendations ready for all three reading prompts!

Spring Reading Challenge Prompts
To complete the challenge, read one book from each of the four topics below. You can read in any order and either choose from our recommendations or pick a book from your own TBR list.

Prompt #1: A Book Featuring the Birds or the Bees
For this prompt, select a book that features birds or bees. We have recommendations for both themes!

Prompt #2: A Book Featuring a Garden
From historical fiction to contemporary stories, these books are set in beautiful gardens or orchards around the world.

how do I access the spring challenge reading lists?
Hi Elaine – there are links to each reading list in this post that you’re commenting on. Each of the pink buttons is clickable to the full list. For example, in the Prompt #1 box, you can click on the pink button that says “Pick a Bird Book from This List” to get to the bird list. Let us know if you need any other help!
Just printed the 2025 Spring Mini Reading Challenge. Can’t wait to get started. Lists are printed from the prompts. Now the fun of choosing what to read. Thanks for all the fun you have added to reading. Appreciate all the hard work and all the creativity.
Looking forward to the next inner circle chat.
