Her sister is demanding a vegan turkey, her daughter has her heart set on one very specific gift, and her husband won’t tell her what he wants. Add in a surprise appearance from her old boyfriend (and his pushy new girlfriend), and this Christmas is beginning to feel pretty chaotic.
The Book Girls Say…
Whether you’ve been lucky enough to visit London or just dream of visiting someday, this novel highlights some of the best shopping (or overshopping) spots in town, including Bond Street, Regent and Oxford Streets, Covent Garden, and Knightsbridge.
We are both big fans of the funny Shopaholic series, and Christmas Shopaholic did not disappoint! This wintery novel stands alone from the series, so don’t worry if you haven’t read the others.
We always laugh out loud at least once when reading Sophie Kinsella, so we’re putting this in the category of holiday self-care stress relief!

The Book Girls Say…
Unlike many of the more lighthearted books on this list, this one will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride, so be prepared to shed some tears. If you prefer linear novels, this one might not be the best pick.
